These Are a Few of My Favorite Things!

Anyone that knows me, knows that I LOVE the holiday season! Like, a lot. I get the urge to start decorating my house sometime around mid October, but I resist the urge (okay...more like my husband tells me I'm crazy and forces down my excitement) and resolve to throw everything up and pump the Christmas jams the moment Thanksgiving is over! Target is one of my go-to's for cute holiday decor, and I wanted to share some of my favorites with you!

This is definitely one of the best things at Target for the holidays in my opinion - and I have no idea if the've offered this in the past, because I just recently found out about it! The Wondershop has these amazing pre-packaged ornament collections, in 8 decor choices. Everything you need to achieve that perfectly coordinated tree that I drool over in the magazines! It would be a really amazing gift for someone just getting their first home, or a newly married couple!

Target has always been my first stop for throw pillows, and holiday is no exception! Replacing your throw pillows on a couch, chair or bed can really bring your holiday decor to life. I'm a big advocate of mixing colors, patterns and textures, and Opalhouse really got it right this year!

I am allll about getting a lot of use out of things - especially if they're seasonal. Both of these wreaths scream " it's Christmas time around here!", but I can also see them being perfect Spring/Easter decor! I think the Magnolia leaf wreath would be gorgeous with some faux holly and/or berries woven through.

One of my very favorite holiday memories was moving the little mouse on our family's advent calendar. Without fail, my sister and I would argue over who had gotten to move it to the 24th and finish up the month the year prior. While there are some really adorable options with drawers, pockets, etc., I'm just not the mom that can think of 24 (times 2 kids!) items to put in them! So here, we keep it simple, and just take turns counting down to Santa. I really love this wooden version and think it would look perfect on a buffet or fireplace mantle!

The little things really pop! Something as simple as a garland (I love this one, because I can see using it for birthdays and Easter, too!), or a throw rug can really bring everything together. Think dishtowels, soap dispensers, welcome mats...some under $15 finds can make your home look and feel extra festive!

Getting cozy during the holiday season is a must! I love cuddling up with my family on the couch and watching holiday movies - both new and old! The big, warm, super soft blankets are perfect for family movie nights, but also work well for guest beds, or just left on the back of the couch to add even more holiday to your home!

As of time of post, these are on sale for an amazing deal! Get one for $7.64 (reg. $39.99)

I hope you enjoyed seeing some of my favorite holiday items this year! I wish so badly I could pop into all of your homes and see what your favorites are - I just love this season so much! Happy decorating!

xx- Jessica
